Flash! Tomorrow, Friday 2/29/08 (leap day!) Miss Liberia Minnesota will host a night of fashion, music performances and prizes! Carlos Falchi (pictured at left with Pumpz & Co founder Marlys Badzin) will be at Pumpz & Co in the Galleria for a personal appearance and trunk show on Friday, March 7. His handbags have been featured in “Lipstick Jungle,” “The Devil Wears Prada,” “Sex and The City,” and on the arms of famous fashionistas throughout the past four decades. He will be autographing vintage Falchi bags, plus guests can custom design the bag of their dreams.

March 8th at Windows on Minnesota on the 50th Floor of the IDS Tower. According to information at the Envision MySpace page, Envision 2008 will include a runway show featuring several Twin Cities based designers/boutiques including: Arwyn Birch, Cliche’, Local Motion, RVNG by Wear it (design: Richard Hall), Revolution by Sarah Holm and Kjurek Couture. Music by The MoonGoons and DJ Timmay - house, mash up, rock, punk & electro.

Diva MN will be holding it’s 16th Annual Club Diva fundraiser for AIDS/HIV programs at the International Market Square (IMS) in Minneapolis on Saturday March 8th.
