Ra’mon-Lawrence presents his 2008 Spring fashion in Eluded Love – a runway show + more! Read on for the scoop (from the press release):
On April 19th, 2008 Fashion will reach new heights in Minneapolis.
The Eluded Love Spring 2008 Collection will be the highlight to the end of Voltage AmplifiedFashion Week . The exhibition will be held the evening of April 19, 2008 at the Soo VAC gallery in Uptown Minneapolis. This spectacular event will capture a wide audience of 500 plus fashion enthusiasts of all ages who love design, art, and upscale entertainment. This dynamic exhibition will be held in conjunction with Voltage Amplified Fashion Week and will be co-sponsored by MN Fashion and Soo Visual Arts Center. MN Fashion is an organization aimed at being a “resource for the fashion community by providing professional development and resources to designers and assisting them in launching great design onto the racks of hip retailers in our area”. The Soo Visual Arts Center a non-profit arts organization “committed to exhibiting the work of exceptional artists and to creating opportunities that foster the understanding and creation of art”.
The ra’mon-lawrence brand is about sophisticated innovation and versatility. Elevated detailing is an essential element to each design. Whether it’s ornate beading on an evening shift dress or hand finishing on a sheer tee, the importance of handwork can be seen on every garment. Our mission is to deliver sophisticated, modern design that addresses not only what a woman needs but also gives her what she craves.

There is nothing as sweet as watching your child begin to walk….. keep stepping to that special beat. I like the way that you dance!!!!! You make my heart skip a beat. Proud to know that you still keep your family in your thoughts. We love you MUCH !!! The show !!!!!!!!!! WOWWWWWW!!! We’ll, I have to think if I want the Black. Teal, or Tan ?????? Can’t wait to see the DVD of the show.

Ra’mon Lawrence, I am just delighted to see how well you’ve done! I am so proud of you and remember quite well the days when you were a frustrated students at the University of Iowa. Your old Iowa City roommate is now married, and your Iowa City family, mama jean and papa joe are going to become grandparents!!! Congrts Ra’, love your designs. Where can I find them in Minneapolis, as we are up there often, Julie lives in Minneapolis!
